Snellen eye chart and screening audiometer

The combination of a Snellen eye chart and screening audiometer provides complete equipment for basic screening examination of a patient's vision and hearing. The Snellen chart with characters of different sizes is used for rapid verification of visual acuity and detection of a possible need for glasses or correction.

The screening audiometer, through headphones, tests the patient's ability to perceive sounds and tones at different frequencies and volumes. These examinations are a mandatory and important part of preventive check-ups and fitness assessments, for example for a driving licence.
